VACANCY AT ADIDAS SOURCING LTD, INDONESIA REP OFFICE

with the highest value. Our primary responsibility in Sourcing is the creation and implementation of a sourcing strategy, supporting the diverse needs of all the brands (adidas, Reebok and adidas Golf), divisions, categories
and regions within the group.

We operate through a network of over 25 offices located on four continents, and in 2005 we sourced over 450 million pairs of shoes, garments and accessories from 45 countries. We are an organization of over 1,300 people working in many different functions, including product development, costing, materials sourcing, quality, production, planning, finance and administration.

Lean Consultant/Trainer

You will be responsible for managing & guiding
specific Lean projects within adidas’ factories and divisions under the supervision of the Continuous Improvement Regional Head.

JOB DESCRIPTION :
Purpose/Key Responsibilities:

* Become an expert in Lean and 6 Sigma concepts/tools ( Learn all you can learn)

* Train to become a certified trainer in the adidas Group Lean Development Program.

* Teach what has been learned both internally (adidas personnel) and externally (supply chain partners).


Essential Duties & Responsibilities (based upon factories assigned) :

* Manage and guide specific Lean projects within Factories and LO function.

* Training and mentor-ship to Factories and LO’s on Lean Tools and specific project requirements.

* Track and keep the projects focused and on time line.

* Baseline and Measure progress, review and critique results with participants.

* Document (measurements, digital imagery) best practice and communicate it to the team.

* Standardization / Kaizen project transfer & benchmarking – Standardize methods used and deploy universally throughout factory and region.

* Establish guidelines for factory and LO roll out with milestones

* Provide training periodically and exhibit outstanding platform presence in Training situations.

* Small Group Facilitation skills, especially in Kaizen events

* Ability to act decisively and independently

* Identify best practices and lean disciplines in each of the key manufacturing areas

* Document and teach best practice methods

* Monitor measurable monthly and identify factories/personnel having trouble with the implementation. Identify factory needs and assemble team or resources to support the transition to Lean

* Develop new factory tools to aid in Lean Deployment


The right candidate should :

* Be University graduated, preferably majored in Engineering or related field. Training in Lean Manufacturing or 6 Sigma is mandatory.

* Have minimum 4 years relevant experience in Lean or 6 Sigma implementation in the field or equivalent industry experience.

* Be responsible for maintaining good relationship and work together closely with all factories and division with good integrity, organizing and focusing on identifying the best practices and lean disciplines in each of the key manufacturing areas.

* Experience in training, consulting or working with remote factories and cultures

* Possess excellent communication and presentation skills.

* Have a very good command of English in both written and spoken, and other foreign languages are a plus.

* Be ready to travel on region area or overseas by assignment

* Have good computer knowledge (Microsoft Windows/Word/Excel/Power Point)
