SALES MANAGER Post Date: 16 Feb 07



Role Description :

1. Strategic Sales & Marketing Initiatives – Provide reliable sales strategy
Analyze sales data (i.e. sales reps ability, sales target, etc.) and market situation (macro economy, competitor, demand, price, etc.), monitor and evaluate sales strategy implementation, conduct any strategy adjustments necessary according to market analysis, and set up sales initiatives covering business opportunities development, expansion and sales coverage.
2. Sales Target – Ensure the achievement of sales target
Monitor and evaluate sales target achievement, set up sales target for the following year based on sales force opportunity and marketing strategy.
3. Budgeting – Provide reliable budget
Analyze forecast, set up business plan annual budget
4. Customer Relation Management – Build and maintain good relationship with customer
Monitor and evaluate customer activities (including complain handling) and monitor the customer, formulate strategy for customer handling, develop and coordinate customer education program.
5. Transaction System – Ensure the suitability of selling price and agreement to equipment specification
Monitor negotiation process, analyze selling price recommendation, conduct negotiation for certain complexity size of “transaction”, determine the price and other requirements to achieve agreement (within one’s authority).
6. People Development – Ensure the suitability of subordinate quality and quantity with working unit needs
Identify and evaluate subordinate needs and development, and recommend subordinate development program based on competency needed.
7. Good Leadership – Managing people and give the direction
Managing people by giving the right direction and good guidance, support them and also encourage people below him and the most important thing is he become the role model.


Qualification :

o Male

o Has an chemical / electro / mechanical engineering background, instruments engineering is preferable

o Having a minimum 5 years experiences on managerial level in industrial or Oil and Gas instruments

o Having a good relationship with oil and gas companies will be an advantage

o Computer literate

o Strong Selling & Negotiating Skill

o Able to communicate in English both oral and written

o Good & Strong Personality, Individual, Mature, & Self Motivated
